Slow Voltage
-----------------------

A portable solar-powered video installation by Tom Hansell. This installation demonstrates alternative energy while presenting documentary film, photography, and sculpture about energy policy. Slow Voltage is an ideal conversation starter with which communities can begin to imagine a future beyond fossil fuels.

-------------------------
Energy Wars
-------------------------

A sound installation by Brian Harnetty that is an audio collage of non-renewable and sustainable energy sources.
This work uses generators, solar panels, turntables, electronics, and both found and live sounds.

-------------------------
Oh, Petroleum

-------------------------
A performance by petroleum pop princess Kristin Baumlier and the Crude Oil Dancers about the past, present and future of petroleum.
There are oil theme songs, stretchable props, and dance moves in the show. All of the dancers wear plastic (petroleum-based) outfits.
Music and songs written and performed by Kristen Baumlier.

The current show incorporates animations done by Amanda Almon and costumes made by Jessica Laskosky.

---------------------------------
Energy Dance Party
---------------------------------
A natural culmination of the previous works, the Energy Dance Party will mix sampled video clips that show the process of turning oil, coal, uranium, and other natural resources into energy. Video loop sources include: moving petroleum oil projections, lightbulbs, prehistoric plants, and other footage shot by the artists. Brian Harnetty will provide additional beat-centered audio tracks mixed with a variety of dance music.
(Tom Hansell (DJ Crawduck) and Kristen Baumlier (DJ Porridge). ALSO: Guest DJs or musicians at some events.)
